Studio Naam is a strategic design agency based in Utrecht, specializing in branding, design, and digital solutions. Our team consists of a small, close-knit group of designers and developers. This means we have an informal organization with short communication lines between design and development. You will also have direct contact with clients, without intermediaries, enabling you to make a real impact and provide the best solutions.
What will you do?
As a Full Stack WordPress Developer at Studio Naam, you will work on a variety of digital projects. You will develop and maintain fully custom-built WordPress websites, create advanced API integrations, and ensure smooth, high-performing web applications. You will collaborate with our design team to build technical solutions that align perfectly with our clients’ needs.
Your responsibilities include:
- Developing and optimizing fully custom-built WordPress websites.
- Building custom functionalities and integrations with external systems.
- Implementing API integrations.
- Writing efficient, well-structured code.
- Working with version control systems like Git.
- Thinking proactively about technical improvements and new possibilities.
- Supporting the management of domains, hosting, and databases (preferred).
- Direct client contact to discuss and implement technical requirements.
What are we looking for in you?
- Advanced knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML(5), CSS(3), and JavaScript.
- Experience with widely used WordPress plugins such as ACF and Gravity Forms.
- Familiarity with Git and experience with version control.
- HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level.
- Several years of experience as a developer.
- Experience with API integrations and technologies such as JSON, XML, and REST.
- Knowledge of domain management, web hosting, and database management is a plus.
- Experience with animation libraries such as GSAP is a plus.
- Excellent command of the English language; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- You work in a structured manner, think proactively, and have a keen eye for detail.
- You thrive in a small team and enjoy working directly with designers and clients.
