Who we are

Studio Naam is responsible for processing personal data as described in this privacy statement. We are careful with your data: we only collect what we need and we do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

What personal data we process

We only process data you give us yourself, for example when you email us, call us or fill in the contact form:

• First and last name
• Email address and phone number
• Company name and job title
• The content of your message or request

When you visit our website, we do not collect any personal data. We only measure anonymous visitor statistics (see Website statistics and cookies).

If you are a client

When we work together, we use the contact and billing details of your organisation and its contact persons. We do this to carry out the assignment and keep our records, because this is necessary for the agreement and required by law. We keep invoices for 7 years due to the statutory tax retention obligation.

What we use your data for

We only use your data for the purposes below. Each purpose lists its legal basis under the GDPR.

• Contacting you about your question or request. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
• Improving our website with anonymous statistics. Legal basis: legitimate interest. No personal data is processed for this.

We never use your data for advertising and we never sell it.

Website statistics and cookies

We measure visits to our website with Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that we host on our own server.

• Umami does not set cookies and does not store anything in your browser.
• We only see totals, such as the number of visitors, pages viewed, referring websites, country, device type and browser.
• Your IP address is not stored. Visits cannot be traced back to you as a person and we do not track you across other websites.
• The data stays on our own server and is not shared with Google or any other party.

Apart from that, we only use functional cookies that are needed for the website to work properly. That is why we do not show a cookie banner.

Don’t want to be counted, even anonymously? Turn on “Do Not Track” in your browser or use an ad blocker.

How long we keep data

We do not keep your data longer than necessary.

• Contact requests that do not lead to an assignment: 1 year after the last contact.
• Anonymous website statistics: for as long as they are useful for comparing trends. Because they are anonymous, they cannot be traced back to you.

Sharing with third parties

We only share your data when this is necessary to deliver our services or when the law requires it. Parties that process data on our behalf, such as our hosting provider, email service and accounting software, have a data processing agreement with us. It states that they may only use your data for us and must keep it secure.

We do not transfer data to parties outside the European Economic Area unless appropriate safeguards are in place.

Automated decision-making

We do not make decisions about you that are taken solely by computer systems without human involvement.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• access, correct or delete your data;
• object to the use of your data, or have that use restricted;
• receive your data in a computer file or have it sent to another organisation;
• withdraw any consent you gave earlier.

Send your request to contact@studionaam.com. We will respond within four weeks. To check that the request really comes from you, we may ask you a few questions. We will not ask for a copy of your ID.

Not happy with how we handle your data? Let us know first, and we will work out a solution together. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Security

We protect your data against misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Our website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and only staff who need it can access your data. If you think your data is not properly secured or you see signs of misuse, please contact us at contact@studionaam.com.

Changes

We may update this privacy statement when our way of working or the law changes. The latest version is always on this page.
