Webdesign & Website

LPAS
A digital presence as considered as the architectural firm it belongs to.

LPAS, an architecture and interior design firm based in California, shapes its practice around a clear and considered process. With years of experience and a sharp eye for detail, the firm has built an extensive portfolio that deserves a fresh website to showcase its work to its full potential.

Our focus was on structuring information clearly for LPAS’s different audiences. With refined visual guidelines and a scalable web design, we brought together the unique facets of LPAS in a new digital home; a platform that puts the firm's work, expertise, and versatility front and center.

Our Approach

Design for your market

Our approach centered on orienting the user first: introducing LPAS's core markets before expanding into the rest of the site. We aimed to keep the experience restful but engaging, integrating custom solutions to navigate different types of content, all while echoing the same qualities that define LPAS's architectural process — intentional, structured, and market-aware.

LPAS works across five core markets — Housing, Interiors, Higher Education, Civic, and Commercial — each shaped by a distinct set of users, priorities, and industry constraints. We introduce each up front, giving visitors a quick, visual sense of where LPAS's expertise lies before diving deeper. This segmented structure also pays off for SEO and marketing.

In Depth Information

We've translated LPAS's workflow into a custom module that reveals more in-depth information step by step, letting visitors navigate to additional details or related projects without ever leaving the page.

Listen, Plan, Analyze, Shape.

At the core of LPAS's identity is their process, distilled into four words: Listen, Plan, Analyze, Shape. It's a philosophy LPAS sums up as "Clear Process. Creative Results. Human-centered. Always Curious" — process and creativity are not in tension, but rather enable each other.

Flexibility for the future

A custom-built website is especially valuable when content is complex or doesn't fit a predefined structure. We let the content lead, shaping the site around what LPAS wanted to say and how it wanted to say it — with every interaction built specifically for the people using it. A modular CMS gives LPAS the flexibility to shape that content precisely to its needs, and to scale as it grows. New projects, markets, or formats can be added without straining the structure underneath, keeping the experience just as considered years from now as it was on day one.

Special attention was paid to mobile design, since a large portion of LPAS's existing site visitors are on a mobile device. We wanted that experience to feel just as high-end and just as easy to navigate.

The colors of each market and target audience are consistently carried through to the headers, footers, and call-to-actions in the homepage slider.

Well received

"Our new website is live. We reimagined the site to better reflect how we work and what sets LPAS apart. Our process is front and center, showing how programming, stakeholder engagement, and technical precision guide every project from the first conversation through construction." — LPAS on instagram March 2026

The site has been well received, both internally and externally, and we're proud to have created something LPAS loves just as much.
